Eligibility Criteria

The Child Must:

  • Be the dependent child of the parent who holds a qualifying visa (Partner (Provisional) visa (subclass 309), Partner visa (subclass 820), or another Subclass 445 visa).
  • Be sponsored by the same person who sponsored the parent’s Partner visa application.

Age Requirements:

  • Must be under 18 years or financially dependent on the parent if over 18.

Other Requirements:

  • Meet health and character requirements.
  • If aged 18 or over, sign an Australian Values Statement.
  • For children under 18, parental consent or compliance with their home country’s laws regarding relocation is required.

Additional Family Members: Siblings or dependent children can apply separately or be added to the application but must also meet health and character requirements.
