Refusal review deadlines are short
Typical ART review deadlines for student refusals are 21 days from notification (longer in detention or specific circumstances). Missed deadlines are rarely reversible. If you are on an active deadline, contact us immediately.

What's inside
- Reading the refusal notice. What the case officer's findings mean, and which findings are reviewable.
- ART review vs re-lodgement. When each makes sense, the trade-offs in time, cost and bridging-visa status.
- Common GS findings. The recurring reasons student visas are refused — funding, course-pathway logic, family ties — and how to address each in the next decision.
- Evidence to assemble for ART. What the Tribunal expects: updated statements, additional financial evidence, clarification of intent.
- Evidence to assemble for re-lodgement. Where re-lodgement is the better route, what to change and what to keep.
- Bridging visa status through the review or re-lodgement process.
- Beyond ART. Judicial review, Ministerial Intervention, returning offshore — when each is realistic.

Frequently asked questions
Is this Pack migration advice on my specific refusal?
No. The Pack is general information about the framework for responding to Subclass 500 refusals. Refusals are highly fact-specific and time-sensitive. Anyone with an active refusal needs individual migration advice, urgently.
Does the Pack guarantee my visa will be approved after using it?
No. Section 15 of the Migration Agents Code of Conduct 2022 prohibits any guarantee of outcome. The Pack helps you understand the framework and what review or re-lodgement involves; the decision rests with the Department or the Administrative Review Tribunal.
Does the Pack cover ART review and re-lodgement?
Yes. Both pathways are covered — when ART review makes sense, when re-lodgement is the better strategy, and how the GS-criterion findings differ in their treatment between the two routes.
When does the first edition ship?
The first edition is in preparation. Submitting the form below subscribes you to a one-off launch email. Anyone with an active refusal deadline should contact us directly — do not wait for the Pack.
