Frequently asked questions

Is this migration advice on my specific TRA assessment?

No. The Playbook is general information about the published TRA Job Ready Program framework. Whether a candidate is well-positioned for a positive outcome is individual and requires advice on the candidate's qualifications, work experience and target trade occupation.

Does it guarantee a positive TRA outcome?

No. TRA assessment decisions are made by TRA on their published criteria. Section 15 of the Migration Agents Code of Conduct 2022 prohibits any guarantee of outcome.

Does it cover the full Job Ready Program (JRP) four stages?

Yes. The JRP — Provisional Skills Assessment, Job Ready Workplace Employment Stage, Job Ready Workplace Assessment, Job Ready Final Assessment — is covered stage by stage, including timelines, evidence requirements, and the common reasons applicants get stuck between stages.
