Frequently asked questions

Is this migration advice on my specific VETASSESS assessment?

No. The Playbook is general information about the published VETASSESS framework. Whether a candidate is well-positioned for a positive outcome is individual and requires advice on qualifications, work experience and target ANZSCO.

Does it guarantee a positive VETASSESS outcome?

No. VETASSESS assessment decisions are made by VETASSESS on their published criteria. Section 15 of the Migration Agents Code of Conduct 2022 prohibits any guarantee of outcome.

Does it cover both professional and trade assessments?

Yes. VETASSESS assesses both professional occupations (Group A/B/C/D/E classifications) and selected trade occupations (technical interview + practical assessment pathways). Both are covered, including the differences in evidence and assessment method.
